We believe prescribed fire is a critical tool for reducing wildfire risk to communities and watersheds. Not only do we provide professional broadcast and pile burn planning service, we get out there and get fire on the ground. Our fleet of vehicles, extensive fire cache, and highly experienced staff can burn anything from small pile projects to multiweek prescribed fires with a full incident management team structure. Our operational resource, Gravitas Peak Prescribed Fire Module, is ready to do the work.
Professional Fire Training
We build skills and confidence for fire practitioners from all backgrounds and experience levels in an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Our trainings offer well-rounded skill sets for fire practitioners to help build capacity for the fire management community. We are dedicated to creating a better educational experience to reach under-served and underrepresented populations to promote a more diverse fire management community.
Community Wildfire Planning Services
We believe in a holistic approach to preparing communities for wildfire. People who live in fire-prone landscapes should expect wildfires to occur and plan accordingly, but this can be an overwhelming task. We provide support for residents, community leaders, and place-based entities to work through education and outreach, planning, and implementation. We can facilitate planning conversations between agencies, governments, and other entities to ensure plans meet many stakeholders’ needs and will be brought into implementation. From NEPA engagement to multiple next generation Community Wildfire Protection Plans, our team is dedicated to meeting the needs of communities across many planning mediums.
